"A great house in a great location"
My family and I spent four days here and found it to be a great cosy house, in a gorgeous street that really added to our Kyoto experience. It was beautifully presented, had everything we needed and was a great location to base our explorations of Kyoto from..we would defintely stay there again.

"Our Two Week Stay at a Wonderful Machiya in Kyoto"
Everything was perfect, great location, quiet street, the owner was very helpful. Miho welcomed us and guided us around the machiya. We found it very convenient to shopping for food and sightseeing. The machiya is charming and well supplied. WIFi and cable tv with many English channels. Don't overpack as the washer dryer is very convenient. You will find the automatic filling bathtub amazing. So much nicer than an impersonal hotel. I had fun exploring the many restaurants in the area.
